Good day to everyone I am very new to TBN, have heard alot about the site and decided it would be a good thing to participate from a salesman standpoint to try and provide some honest help and try to dispell the myth of the "Slick Salesguy"

I for one don't lump all salesmen together, it's like any job, there's people that like what they do and look forward going to work, people that feel they have to do something for a paycheque and people who just look for a paycheque the easiest way they know how. I've seen salesmen you like too see and then some whom you would have to go back to the truck and get your shovel if you know what I mean (please don't think violence just B.S. (Am I allowed to say B.S.?))

Steve

Sorry, Welcome to the forum, I think you'll like it here.

There are a few owners who participate here who help disspell all the myths on sales so you'll be in the minority.

One thing I think many people here understand. There are some who shop for bottom dollar but most value customer service as more important in the large scheme of things.

If you read long enough you'll understand probably better than most of us what customers feel and how you can take those 2 cents and be a better salesmen in the long run.

Welcome to TBN! It's nice to get the other sides' perspective once in a while. Hope we can all learn a few things along the way and become better "people" because of it. You'll quickly get the feeling that "most" people here on TBN usually look beyond the final sales price of a tractor or whatever it is they are purchasing and lean toward the dealer or salesman that not only offers a fair price, but one who is also "service oriented".

Glad to have you, and hope that you can pick up a few tips along the way!

No the "New Guy" is Dan. I have been with RK since 2001
I have yet to meet you but have met Mel, Loren, and Jay.
So far this site looks to be filled with better schooled customers that understand there is more than just buying a tractor.
