After months of thought, I finally decided on which JD model I feel will best serve my needs. I was ready to finalize everything (i.e. order the beast!) until I run into a snag. I had decided on either a 3120 or 3320 (HST of course) w/72" "7-Iron" MMM, snow blower and brush hog. I also wanted the R3 Turf tires since this beast will see 99% of it use mowing my yard and 9 acres of open field. The dealer informed me that he didn't think the MMM was available or would work with the R3 Turfs. Can anyone confirm or deny this? He was checking into it and going to let me know but I haven't heard anything back yet. I can't imagine that this could be the case as I don't feel it makes sense considering most order the R3's for mowing and most would mow with the MMM. Anyone have any insight on this issue? Thanks!

I would recommend the 3320 as the snowblower likes a little more horse power.

Just took delivery of 3320 with 72" 7-Iron and R3 Turfs. The MMM was mounted on delivery but, it's snowing here so can't say if it "works" Come spring time - it better work.

I think Killer_B has the same setup and his works.

Medic,

I'm not sure where this rumor started. But I can assure you that there is a mile of clearance between the turf tires and the 72" 7 Iron deck. See my photo link below.

BTW: I think you will LOVE the 3X20's for mowing a large area. They are downright plush compared to smaller tractors.

Wow ... I learned something here. Went by the local JD dealership yesterday. Was looking at a few tractors. I mentioned the 3320 and was told by the dealer that I could NOT get the MMM for that tractor. Kind of strange I thought but hey you know ... he is the expert here .. not me.

The only reason I asked about it was I had just run across a 3320 with FEL that had less than 30 hours on it. They were asking $13K which I thought might not be a bad price. The only thing missing was the MMM which I kind of think I really want.
