Hi MossRoad,

Just a clarification, I picked 2.2 gals/hr based on Kohler graphs at maximum output of 25 HP. When your running at a governed 3600 rpm, this does not necessarily equate to horsepower. You need to be fully loaded.

I guess that would make a difference. I don't mow enough to notice the difference in fuel consumption at full throttle, compared to loader work at full throttle. I know the mower really puts the load on the engine, as it gets really loud as soon as you turn on the PTO. I'll have to top off the tank and compare when doing those two very different tasks.
