It will be there soon enough and the days will be longer (a little anyway) when it gets there to drool over it.

But maybe go to the dealer and guilt them into some extra features to compensate you for your sleepless nights, pain and suffering. :D

geoduck - you mean like the very nice Power Wagon jacket and bb hat they will be giving me. It will go well with my leather, canvas & Levi Harley Davidson collection( 5 jackets). And the collection I'm currently building with my BMW( only 2, so far).

That's OK. This will be the third vehicle I have purchased from this dealership. They have always treated me fairly. I know this will continue.

I have my friend, Jack Daniels, for pain. No fools around this area - so I don't suffer much.

As far as being patient - NO, I'm really not a patient person. However, if I want this truck, what else can I do. There are no other dealers in Ea WA with a PW. I saw there is a dealer in CO with EIGHTEEN power wagons on his lot. But I'm the kind of person - If I buy from John, I will go back to John for service. I would feel guilty - buying in CO and asking for service in Spokane.

Not that it matters, but I can now completely understand why you're waiting. I forgot where Spokane was.

Thanks Sigarms. My location is fantastic, EXCEPT - I'm right in the middle of nothing when it comes having multiple dealers, suppliers, stores for just about everything. I envy those who say they shopped at multiple dealers, got multiple prices for just about everything. I buy a lot of my supplies off the internet. Not because it's cheaper - because there is nowhere to find a "brick & mortar" that carries the supplies.

The only other person that could possibly be more remote - - Doofy, up in Glennallen, AK. Or the fellow TBNer from Kodiak Is, AK.

Hey oosik,

I have to ask, why would someone want to use a "handle", of a "walrus dong"?? You aren't aprick are you? lol lol

I bet most of the folks here don't even know what an oosik is... lol

Right, oosik looked like something from his time in Alaska, so I looked it up last week:

I knew what it was/is, I think I lived in Alaska longer than he did... Quite a few folks there have them as collectables... lol

:laughing:Well, this is the "story" on the OOSIK. Alaska eskimos hunt seal & walrus. They use EVERYTHING on both animals for some purpose or other. The only use for the oosik was as a tourist collectable. Since I've always been hooked on cribbage. Mine is fashioned into a cribbage board.

SR - I was in AK from 1960 to 1982. 1960 - 1965 - summer employment while getting my bachelors degree. 1965 -1982 as Director of Environmental Health, Anchorage.

Where were you and doing what, when in AK?

And it took Xfaxman to "spill the beans" - :dance1:

That reminds me of a Lena and Ole joke..... no, wait, this site is rated G. :)

OLE AND SVEN were on their very first train ride. They had brought along bananas for lunch. Just as they began to peel them, the train entered a long, dark tunnel.

"Have you eaten your banana yet?" Ole asked excitedly.

"No, " replied Sven.

"Well don't touch it," Ole exclaimed, "I just took one bite and went blind!"

I figured we could tell jokes until that power wagon showed up...

I thought his name was Richard and oosik was just a play on his name.

I lived in Alaska for 25 years, I first was in Cordova and then lived on the Kenai Peninsula, but I spent a lot of time hunting all over the state...

Ole and Sven are neighbors in Minnesota. Ole is in need of a new milk cow. He hears about a nice one for sale over the border in Wisconsin. He drives over to Wisconsin, looks at the cow, and reaches under to see if she gives milk. When he grabs the teat and pulls, the cow farts. Ole is very surprised, looks at the farmer who is selling the cow, and reaches under the cow to try again. He grabs another teat, pulls, and the cow farts again. Milk does come out, however, so after some discussion, Ole decides to buy the cow anyway and take it home. He calls over his neighbor, Sven, and says, "Come here and look at dis new cow I yust
bought. Pull her teat and see vat happens dere." Sven reaches under and pulls; the cow farts. Sven looks at Ole and says, "You bought dis cow over dere in Visconsin, yah?" Ole is very surprised and says, "Yah, dats right, how did you know dat?" Sven says, "My vife is from Visconsin!"
