Went to change the oil in the 2025R. My old DR oil extractor had busted its suction line in a couple places. It had been getting slower in sucking oil out: probably a teeny tiny air leak somewhere anyway. Got another from the DR outfit. Appears the same. Had to drain the oil by removing the drain plug. Never been used on the 2025R. Put the new Advanced Auto M1 0w30 ESP oil in it with an OEM JD oil filter I got from Amazon.

Also bought another Ironton 12v oil pump from Northern Tool. They've it down to the $25 again now. It works well as long as you let the engine cool down or just pump it out cold. Do it hot, and you ruin the seals on the pump. Been there. Done that.
