Hi,

I'm Kevin. Just joined, new member. New to tractors as well. Just bought a Ford 3000 diesel with brush hog and trailer to mow 50 acres in Orange Grove, TX. Not sure what year my ford is. Previous owner said 1976, but according to TractorData and the Serial number I was given, it looks to be a 1967. Will be looking later to see about other attachments and add-ons.

IF you have any pictures, or model code, we could help identify it for you.

There should be a series of numbers, stamped (NOT cast) around the starter area. if you can locate them, and perhaps post a picture of them, we could tell you the exact year. They should be in the same area as the serial number. They will tell the exact year, right down to the day of the month and what shift.
