Mahindra 4500. My father in law bought it early 2000's. He passed away in 2010 so I look after his cows (not a cowboy). I mostly just use it to put out round bales and seed and fertilize the pasture. Also have a backhoe for it and found out I'm pretty good with it but hardly use it. The 4500 is great for what I do, not too small and not to big.

Well, I got a 9,000 square foot area tilled last October. It was grass before. I hired a guy with a Branson tractor and 6' tiller, and in 1 1/2 hours, it was done. I removed some large boulders while he was tilling, and lots of rocks were flying. The level area has good looking soil. My whole property is level, so that should make for safe tractoring. Plan to utilize a few more acres for various crops.

Welcome to the forum. Yanmars are great tractors.....I suggest you check out the Yanmar forum here on TBN.....lots of great info. I have a 186D which was sold originally here in the US and I believe was equivalent to the 1510D which was sold overseas. Yanmar made all the John Deere engines in their small tractors for years. They just recently bought out Cub Cadet and will be selling new Yanmars here soon. Like any used purchase.....check it out thoroughly. That 1601 you mention has been for sale for a long time on Craigs list. You might want to make a trip Hoquiam and visit Coldwater Tractor....they have quite a selection. Good luck finding a tractor!:thumbsup:
