I live in central Indiana and this is the second tractor I've owned.

Hope someone can help. I just bought 8 acres of woods and am looking to purchase a 3 pt hitch mounted log splitter that I can run off the tractor hydraulics. Problem is there are no hydraulic remotes installed on my tractor (1997 era 7275 Cub Cadet). Can I ecomomically install a set of rear remotes? All I've seen online is a dealer kit for $1500 which is crazy for wanting to buy a $700 log spitter. Are there any viable solutions?

I'm sure you'll get some good answers on the splitter. I'm haven't got that far in my projects yet.

WELCOME!

Howdy Tegwin, it'd be best to take this question to the Cub Cadet portion of the forum (up the page a bit). There are some fine memebers there that could help ya.
