Tractor
Kioti 2620 Cab current, Yanmar 1802d former
I bought a used/recon Yanmar 1802d a few months ago for my small property needs. It has done very well and I am continuously impressed at how it always starts on the first crank despite using diesel fuel that has been stored in jerry cans for almost 2 years!
I finished grading my property last week for a final inspection and passed. At that point, I wanted to make my Vietnamese reconditioned tractor stand out from the rest in terms of finish quality. I have a powder coat shop not too far that has been handling my other parts needs and decided to tear down the tractor and send them all I can to bring this thing up to a level of finish that would seem new. The wheels already had some rust signs so they were the first to go in. They will be powder coated a dark silver with a gloss sealer. The remainder will be textured black for the ROPS and frame parts and red for the body parts.

Here it is as I bought it and cleaned it up a bit.

I already redid the shifter console as the tension spring for the shifter was broken. While apart, I detailed some of the plastics which were painted with runs by the reconditioner.

And here is the tractor 3 months later awaiting some clean and rust free coated parts.

I will post progress pics as I go along.

Thanks for reading!

Hi. Welcome. Nothing like a little bling on your tractor.

:welcome:
To TBN Simon. Great looking tractor. You must be retired to have that much time on your hands.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Enjoy the site... as you're obviously enjoying your Yanmar.

Thanks for the welcome guys!
Aaron, you've seen my order list from previous months with more coming soon!

I am not retired but a 45 year old electrical contractor. I have one great employee who works volumes around production and thus frees my time up a bit. I am in the middle of a major remodel of the house, several open jobs, and of course my little tractor toy.

Although unrelated, the bling factor comment made me post a pic of my other toy. I am an OCD bastard when it comes to details.
I have since sold the TR6 to fund the house projects.
