I bought a used/recon Yanmar 1802d a few months ago for my small property needs. It has done very well and I am continuously impressed at how it always starts on the first crank despite using diesel fuel that has been stored in jerry cans for almost 2 years!
I finished grading my property last week for a final inspection and passed. At that point, I wanted to make my Vietnamese reconditioned tractor stand out from the rest in terms of finish quality. I have a powder coat shop not too far that has been handling my other parts needs and decided to tear down the tractor and send them all I can to bring this thing up to a level of finish that would seem new. The wheels already had some rust signs so they were the first to go in. They will be powder coated a dark silver with a gloss sealer. The remainder will be textured black for the ROPS and frame parts and red for the body parts.
Here it is as I bought it and cleaned it up a bit.

I already redid the shifter console as the tension spring for the shifter was broken. While apart, I detailed some of the plastics which were painted with runs by the reconditioner.

And here is the tractor 3 months later awaiting some clean and rust free coated parts.

I will post progress pics as I go along.
Thanks for reading!
