Yep, they all make lemons, our JD 2305 has been a real disappointment, but I would buy another Deere. In the CUT though, I prefer the Kubota, but it's not a quality issue, both make good stuff.

I find the Kubota's quality is a little better. Nothing against Deere, i have owned 3 and plan on owning more in the future, they are great tractors.

you just cant beat the kubota MX5100 HST 4x4 with the LA844 quick tach loader.but the 50hr maintance price will shock you.i spent just shy of $400 sat for 15 gal hydro oil motor oil oil filter an 2 hydro filters.

Really nice tractor, and the first thing I would do is buy a gallon of Herculiner, and coat that floorboard. I've used it on multiple applications, and it's great to protect the base paint washes off well when you get it dirt, as well as looks cool too. It really finishes off the looks of your tractor. You just rough up the paint a little with scotch brite, mask off those adjoining surfaces you don't want coating on and roll it on after dabbing it on along the edges. You'll need to do two coats, but the stuff is great. Best $80 bucks I ever spent, and you'll have some left over for other projects. I found the best price at an Ace Hardware in my area. By the way if you do it be sure and put something under the tractor to catch any droppings through the holes. Once that Herculiner sticks to a concrete slab it's a mess. Trust me.

I took off my floor pan and had it Rhino-lined along with the step. Definitely an improvement.

Good choice! That deck would probably have a little slippery without something on it. Congrats, Nice Tractor!

Here is pix of the pickup bed liner I put on my Plasticote brand of pickup bed liner, $45 per gallon at TSC
This was taken after it was applied for about a month and the tractor was dirty. When clean it is quite a bit "brighter"

The GLs have a rubber mat on the floorboard but I've thought about doing the step. It doesn't take long before the paint wears off.

About a 1/4 or a 1/3 If I remember correctly. I used some for some other things too. Still have a lot left.
