I had about fifteen berry bushes I needed to move ,and after two operations on my right arm a few months ago, I knew an implement was needed.
I looked at the Paumco unit, and almost bought it, but next year I am likely to get a larger tractor for a new property and I wanted an implement that would be strong enough to work with 100hp, not my current half that. In other words, work on a good utility tractor, not just a CUT. They make two sizes, the smaller one would look more proportioned to my tractor but the larger one worked fine too.
I have found that JR Long implements are very heavily built. Decent welding, typical crappy Long paint job, that hasn't changed sadly.
Lots of rocks where I was digging, so it would catch and raise the tractor, good old granite...but after worrying it a bit, the bushes came up with reasonably sized root balls.
Couple of bare roots, all the dirt fell off, oh well. they will be planted properly.
Definitely a tool for life. Felt like it could dig a shallow ditch quite easily.
