Best Land Plane?

A friend of mine bought an small road grader from a local mountain town. Excellent condition and nobody else wanted it.
It's the right tool. Takes much less time to do his road, and the road gets better every time. Can tilt the blade for crown and ditching. Maintaining the road puts almost no wear and tear on the grader, so an old one is just fine.

Personally I wouldn’t give more than $50 for it.
