New Guy with a 2135

Hello All,
Brand new here. My Dad past away a few month ago and I acquired his 2135 mower. I'm new to Cub ownership. I already ordered a tune-up/filter kit and an owners manual. I would like to restore this to "near new" condition. Both headlight lenses are missing and the deck spindle bearings are noisy, 500+ hrs on the meter.
I know that in the future there will be questions that you people can hopefully help me through. Thanks again, Jim

Welcome Jim. Try greasing the spindle bearings as well as the other grease fittings on the tractor. If there is "slop" or play in the bearings you may have to replace the spindles. Grab the ends of the blades and see if you can wiggle them up and down at all.
Sometimes you can find parts on eBay at a decent price. I found a brand new headlight assembly for my 3235.
