That looks great Mr. Mayor. Where did you buy the box or did you make it ?

Its small but when you don't have any storage it's a really good thing. (Oliver) Tool Box - Universal tool box. Solid metal construction. 16 12L x 4 14W x 4 12D. Painted Blue. (Part No: R2675) $25.00 before shipping. After this I found out the smartfarmer has them a lot cheaper and he will paint it (www.smartfarmer.com). I think you will have to email him, its not on the site.

Very nice tool box, don't think JD could do a better job. I tried the "smartframer" URL but foud it is actually "http://www.thesmartfarmer.com/" just in case someone else couldn't use that link. Now all I have to do is E-mail the guy so I can get one as well. Again, nice job and thanks for the pics.

I always used a link from another site to get to the smart farmer. Thanks for making that clear. Got a few new shots from the storm last week.

Also worked this weekend on getting the shed redone to fit all my stuff. Picked up a strong shelf at a box store and it helped with storage. The shed where I have the tractor is 12x14 and just fits. This summer I want to have the loader sitting next to the tractor with the deck on. I think I can do it.

I got a 12 x 24 and if my trailer was not in there, I would store my tractor in there during the spring and summer months - Garage in the fall winter months ready to plow.

After getting her on 3 wheels I know I have to get the weight box filled so today was the day. Used 8 bags and it looks good. The PVC idea I got here and it will help hold tools if needed. Just have to let it dry and paint it green.

Update, looks like I will need more weight. The box is 129lbs and the 8 bags are 400lbs. So that's 529lbs. The loader manual wants 700+ on the rear. I don't want to fill the tires or get wheel weights because of my lawn (cutting grass). Will add two more bags 100lbs (629lbs). Did anyone ever weld a bar across the top of the weight box to hold the JD weights. I was thinking I could add 4 JD weighs (168lbs) to the box. 629 + 168 = 797. 797lbs should be more then enough. Any ideas on this? Also what does an iMATCH weigh?

I think if you get that box filled all the way to the top with concrete you will be fine. Thats what I use on my 4110 with no problems.

Mayor, what was the story with PVC?

Got to finnish it off today. 10 bags total. That should be fine now I just have to paint it. The PVC are for hand tools (rake, shovel, etc.).

Mayor,
I really like the way you have your 2305 fixed up. I ordered mine last friday
and the dealer told me that it will be ready in 2 weeks. I just wish I could figure a way to get a toolbox on mine. (I am getting the backhoe 260 option)
I will try to figure out something. I can't sleep at night thinking about my tractor! Anyway you have some great ideals for your tractor.

JDFANATIC,
I have really enjoyed all of the information that I have been able to pick up by reading the post. I noticed that in an earlier post, you were interested in the 260 hoe. When I get mine in, I have several projects planned for the hoe.
The main one is digging out several tree stumps out of my 5 acre yard. I plan on taking pictures of my projects and posting them on TBN. Thank you for your post. I can't wait to get it in. 8 more days!

I had to wait a few weeks also and it was so bad. I asked some guys to post pictures so I could get my fix. It did help a bit but once you get one you will have a smile ear to ear.

Used my box blade to clear out an area in the yard that was a mess (dumping ground). This tractor is so strong for the size!!!
