How much does that add to your feed bill to have it delivered? I'm paying $10 for forty pound sacks of 14% layer pellets. They where $7 when I started ten years ago.

TSC has free delivery for members once a quarter, whatever you order. So I just use that coupon. Plus 5% for subscribe and save, 5% for 20+ bags bulk, and 5% for hometown hero's. Total bill was $415 or $20.75/bag when the ticket price is $22.99/bag at 50lb of 16% pellets.

I keep considering shopping around, but every time someone says they try a different feed, their laying tanks.

That looks good. What primer/paint did you use? I debated painting a few times but I'm afraid it'll end up looking like my kubota. And I did research on that primer/paint and they promised it would bond to aluminum.

I usually only bought a bag at a time due to only less than 5 chickens. I usually bought the high Omega 3 food.

Today was a big day.

I cut off the chute on my zero turn. I held up a plate, stenciled it, cut it out, and welded it, so i can disable the chute. I also picked up some clearance spraypaint a few weeks ago, which looked suspiciously like kubota orange.

I got a new PTO pulley for the tiller. The inner pulley was bent somehow and it kept throwing belts. Unfortunately, the one that came has a hole to small, so i'm going to put it on the lathe and drill the hole out.

I wanted to make antoher pass in the garden tilling before i cover it. Unfortunately, it was to wet, and I got stuck. It took 2 hours and the use of hte tiller to dig/push myself out, lots of digging by hand.

Good to see your posts again. I wondered if maybe you were relaxing in a hammock.

Got laid off in december, so most of my efforts have been focused on finding work. Nothing yet, my industry is pretty cut-throat. A decade at my last place, i've been trying to catch up with everything i missed.

Once I'm employed again, trust me, I'll be off like a race horse.
