New G-30-E Commerical 12 owner!!

I found this beauty on Craigslist over the weekend and purchased it last night down in CT. I am having trouble trouble with finding out what year it is, so any help would be appreciated!

Serial: 2048220
Spec: 47410C

(owner wanted extra money for the mower deck which was a POS so I told him to keep it and leave the quick release PTO on the machine)

Well the tractor serial# is usually found on a tag on the carb side of the tractor on the advance housing, about half way up the housing, those look like engine #s to me. The advance housing is where the attachments bolt on. Is the engine a K301s? those #s look like a 10hp, but I'm no expert.

So there numbers I posted are engine only ? I'm not an expert either, but those numbers are copied right off the metal tag pictured by the carb. The tag reads G-30-E and the hood says "Commercial 12". I haven't had much time to play with the machine, but I hope to have some more info in the next day or so.

I believe so, I have a com12 also and the plate visible from the pics is engine data,, my tractor s# is on a small tag rivited to the front housing, I think mine starts with J-something.

For some odd reason I cannot find my plate by the housing. Any other pointers to how I can ID my machine ?
