New flail

Saia truck showed up with a new toy today. The old rotary cutter deck has more rust holes than metal now so, I thought I'd replace it with a flail.

I'd like to do the same, looking forward to your thoughts after using it for a bit.

I have one for my skid steer (different brand, same knives). I really like it but, the tracks tear the ground up more than the tractor tires do. The tractor is at the old ranch right now so it’ll be a few weeks before I can move it back here and try the flail on it. Actually, I’ll probably end up taking the flail there to do some mowing once we get everything packed up so it’ll show well.

Yes, please let us know how it goes. Thinking of a smaller flail to finish trails and keep them clean. And do the side yards which are in pretty good shape.
