The website is very confusing.

You'll see RPMs: 2600, then a bit lower you'll see: Revolutions 2100.

I wouldn't trust the website much.

i've been told by the marketing designer for Branson USA, they are in the process of building a new US site for BRanson that will soon replace the old one, they said its estimated to be put up in the early 3rd quarter of this year.

I guess the 2515 would be ok for loader work but you get a Hydro and you will really be limited with anything on the PTO. Plus how weak will it be with the hydro? I am guessing that why it is a 3 range hydro instead of 2. Just wish it had tilt and telescoping lift arms.

That's good news Asteral. Thanks. It's still a bit mystifying to me that it would take so long but regardless, I'm glad to hear the long overdue work will be done. I hope they do a good job of it. I'd bet the willful neglect of the site cost them a lot more money than they would think... but what the **** do I know?

That is good news Asteral. It can only strengthen the brand presence in the US. Most of the time the topic of small tractors comes up around here, no one has even heard of the brand name.

Never even saw a branson tractor around here......

so i was also told they plan on implementing a consumer parts ordering section for the site as well but that won't be up this year as they have only just started designing it, but i've been told they are working on it.
I'll keep everyone updated as i learn more about it.

First post on here but I have been stalking for a while. Yesterday I was able to test drive the 2515 and give it a good look over. The tractor feels substantial compared to the Yanmar 424 that I have previously rented/tested. Nice suspension seat and arm rests as well. It made the 2610 next to it look like a toy. On complaint is the 3pt lever is way down on the right side between the fender and seat and kind of hard to get to. Also the loader seems a little slow compared to the Yanmar. I was quoted $17900 for the Tractor.

Welcome to TBN.

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. The speed of the loader is probably related to the size. It's a bigger loader/tractor.

Yes the 3 PT lever is a bit low and kinda hidden. Some people have extended it a bit.

First post although I've been stalking for a while. I bought a 2515 a month ago and absolutely love it so far. Also went ahead and added third function hydraulics and a grapple bucket.

For those wondering if Branson would still build tractors after being bought by Tym. The answer is Yes. They are still building tractors and going strong!

Here is the newly launched tractor. It's a Branson 2515 both shuttle and hydro. They call it a large frame compact tractor since it has the frame of the 15 series with a de-rated engine. But since it's a 24hp @2200 rpms, it won't have all the DPF shenanigans.

Being a large frame and no DPF, should be a really good seller.

Here is some pictures and the comparison chart, which is a bit hard to see.

Saw a newer print of the 2515 comparison of specs to some other brands in the 25 HP class at Keno 's site.

FEL lift is quoted as 2200lb on this sheet, other sources said 2100lb

It should be the same as the rest of the 15 series, which is 2200lbs I believe.

Now that you brought this thread up again, I'll take the opportunity to share this thought I had for a while and would be nice if 2515 owners could chime in.

I wonder if one could buy a higher HP 15 series tractor, which would have the emissions, and just slap the factory muffler from a 2515 tractor on it. It should be a direct bolt on as the engine is the same A1700 from entire 15 series, apart from the 4815.

I bet you could ptsg. Would be interesting if someone would give it a try. Dealers may not sell the muffler to someone with a higher HP tractor though. Might would have to order it from someone that is not aware of what it would be used for. :confused3:

My thoughts as well. It would be simply too easy I guess.

It would be a good alternative if someone couldn't find an exhaust shop to fit a muffler on the tractor.
