I picked up my new B7610 yesterday with some implements. I don't have pictures of the implements yet as I am trying to figure how to easily get them off the trailer right now.

First thing I did when I got it home was remove the mower deck. It actually comes off quite easy however it takes up alot of floor space. I think I will be building something to store it on edge.

I can't wait to get home this afternoon and put it to work pulling some of my brush around and getting the brush ready to burn.

Another good reason to ask your dealer to weld on some bucket hooks! Seriously, hope you get many good years out of your new 7610, as do I with mine. I am currently making short work of the brush clearing, but those nasty vines sure are a PITA to pull out of the trees and, once down, have a tendency to want to wind up around your axles. Grrr...! I had no trouble dropping the deck either, but will admit to a little help from the FEL. I have a sneaky feeling it will take a lot longer to reinstall, especially the PTO shaft - mine was super tight. BTW, did your dealer give you a mid PTO cover to use when your MMM is off? Also, from looking at your pics, you might want to try setting the left rear deck wheel down into the longest position and locking the center rear wheels all the way up, it made manipulating the deck around a bit easier for me.

Have a fun first day getting to know each other!

You're killing me.
I hope to pick up my 7610 tomorrow.
Figures...today 70 and sunny. Tomorrow 50's and thunderstorms.
I'm ready to storm the dealership and hold them all hostage till they load the tractor onto my trailer. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Not too extreme.
I tried the same tactic with Santa when I was a kid...darn elves, I was way out numbered, and they're bigger than you might think. Gotta find a way to get off the "naughty list."
Cheers, and enjoy your new tractor, edski

Curtis,

Invest in a set of clamp-in ( in the bucket) pallet forks... They will be your favorite attachment.... I use them for everything... moving rocks, equipment, palletized firewood...

etc,etc....

Regards,
Chris

Edski,
So you are responsible for the rain today. My yard was just starting to dry out enough that I could drive on it, then someone has to schedule a tractor delivery and kick loose all this rain. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Good luck getting your B7610.

Ben, that is almost like asking me if you can have my new tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Going to be kinda hard to use those tools now though, especially since the tractor will be occupying the third bay of my garage where the woodwork takes place. Guess that is more motivation for me to get the additional 20x30 garage built, or should I say "workshop", oh, hope there is nobody on this list from the Village of Spring Grove. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Allen,
I'm going in.
If you don't hear back from me, send bail money.
It's not that I'm responsible for the rain today, it's Santa!
He controls the entire shipping industry, and holds a grudge.
How else could he pull off that christmas eve stunt year after year so successfully. The sleigh is just a ruse, a diversion. FedEx, UPS, even the USPS, he controls them all.
I've done almost everything to get off that naughty list. Even swore off dwarf tossing, to no avail.
It's as if he know when you've been sleeping, knows when you're awake, knows when you've got work to do, so no Ku-bo-ta for you.
This may sound like the rantings of a paranoid, but it gets worse.
Even if it clears up tomorrow and we have a nice weekend...he's got that covered too. He's sent my parents to pay a visit for a long weekend. There's no way I can sneak off for a little seat time, since I haven't seen them since Christmas.
SINCE CHISTMAS...coincidence, I don't think so.
Cheers, edski

Oh Edski, I feel your pain! And besides, is it paranoid when you are right?

Nice CurtisB. I got one just like it 2 months ago and already have 45 hours on it. You'll love it (and so will your relatives).

Hey I want dibs on the mortising machine in front of your B7610 before Ben calls it /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.Jeff

Those shiney brand new orange tractors sure look mighty purty /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
They even get better once you've got 'em a little dirty w/a few scratches too.
Bad thing is they'll steal your attention away from other projects, unless of course they're involved /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

CurtisB -

Nice pics - and as nice as it looks all clean & pretty - it looks more beautiful after a hard days' work once you realize how much you've accomplished! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

New tractor AND all the woodworking toys - I'll have to load one of those pics as my wife's desktop...maybe she'll get some ideas.... /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Enjoy the 7610!

Dan,

All I got to say is this little Bota is one heck of a machine. I put about 10hrs. on it this weekend, would have been more but alot of the time was dragging brush and pushing brush to a burn pile. But, with 10hrs on the machine I was down to 1/4 tank of fuel. That is awesome! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I built a rock retaining wall with it already as well, ooops, kinda bent the bucket a little. Going to have to break out the welder and reinforce the bar along back of bucket which I was going to do anyway since I want to weld on some hooks. The little loader only frowned at me on a couple rocks, had to roll them because it just would not lift them. Although, a few of them made the tractor a little light in the rear end even with the box blade attached.

I have attached some pics of the baby all dirty, worked, etc.
