Price Check Need price help on 5030

Looking at a 5030SU utility special with 800+ hours. It is a 96 or 97 model and looks and sounds good. He is asking $10,750 and I was wondering how this sounds as far as price? I know it is hard to price a tractor sight unseen but I have no experience with Kubota and could use a little help. The man is a neighbor of mine and I don't think he has abused the tractor.

I didn't know Kubota used the 5030 model designation on anything but the Grand L like I have. I ran Kubotas model listing and it doesn't show up. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I think it is probably an M5030SU and that does show up on the list I looked at. I know it is not considered a CUT but I didn't know where else to ask.

Try agricultural tractors and machinery. The M series is an ag. tractor.

The Kubota M5030SU went into production in 1989. It is a 6 cylinder Kubota diesel with 60hp and 49hp at the PTO. Lewis

Are they good tractors? The gentleman is asking $10,750 for it with 800+ hours is this a reasonable price? I haven't made a counter offer yet. Also, are these engines sleeved?

They were good tractors. If the hours are correct, that is a very low hour machine. The new version, a M6800S-F (2WD) would run $18,300.00 to $19,000.00. Yes, the M5030SU was a sleeved engine. Hope this helps. Lewis

You are correct, we don't stock the M5700 as a rule and I guess I overlooked that model (which is strange because I used to have a M5400 4WD as my turf demo tractor). A bare M5700S2F would probably run $17,000.00 to $17,500.00. Lewis
