need help with LA482 loader lifting

Hi I need some advice about this loader. When lifting bucket I have to position the valve in just the right spot so it lifts. If I push harder, the bucket stops lifting even though there is plenty more travel in the valve. If I push down hard The bucket will not come up at all. All other positions work fine. There seems to be no play in the valve. The loader is on a 2002 Kubota L3010 with 260 hours. Just bought used this summer and this is the only problem I've had. This bucket will lift fully loaded if the valve is in the exact position. Any help would be appreciated.
