need help choosing: YM2000 or 1610

Mine grinds a bit when shifted, didnt notice syncro's in it either..

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( The 2000 IS a syncromesh )</font> Then you got the only one. It is not, by design according to the parts book, nor in actuality based on every 2000 we have had, synchronized. None of the standard gearshift Yanmar models are to the best of our knowledge.
