Need advice for first time buying

Hey everyone, I’ve never owned a tractor personally and the closest thing to operating one has been a riding lawn mower my father owned. I’m moving into a half acre suburban lot in Florida that is at most 30-45 minutes from rural areas that are littered with farms. I’m drawing up some plans for starting a tractor services side gig for jobs you could do with a compact/subcompact but want this to double as my at home mower as well, I’m having trouble deciding on what to get.

Here’s my question: I’m trying to decide between a <25hp sub compact or a 30 hp compact to double as an at home mower and also pull jobs around town for anyone needing grading or whatever else done. Can anyone give me some advice or maybe some pros and cons? Any and All advice is welcome.

I would think a sub compact would be the way to go, but it may be a little inconvenient mowing 1/2 acre with small loader tractor.
Have you priced tractors yet? Even a sub compact is going to be a chunk of change new. If you're certain some work would materialize it could pencil out, otherwise you'll end up with a very expensive lawn mower for a relatively small lawn.
