Everyone stay safe - I'm about an hour SW of Washington DC near the Blue Ridge and we were supposed to get about 10" or more originally. Storm tracked much more eastward than expected and we got nothing. Those along the coast and beaches got it instead. We sure got the wind gusts though!

I'm an hour NW of Washington DC and have the same deal - no snow and a whole lotta wind. It's OK as I'd really like to fetch a bit more firewood without snow on the ground.

Well, here it is- the before & after... guess we got a good 14-18" here, with some pretty good drifts. Winds were wicked.

The GC/blower handled it just fine; now things are back to "normal."

We got 6-7 inches. Mostly melted now but the ground is very wet. I need to move some trees I cut down before the storm but the ground is so wet I do not think it will be a good to use the tractor.

We lost power twice for 2-3 hours each time. I heard a transformer blow a couple of miles away when the first outage happened. Never did see the cause of the outage even though I looked.

The wood stove kept us warm as usual. :thumbsup:

Hopefully that is the end of winter weather. Yea Right. We are having our mid winter warming spell the next couple of days. Then it will get cold again and who knows what kind of weather we will get. We have not had a 24 inch snow in a few years. Kinda time for it I am afraid......
