Tractor News Naked FX20D

[Semper Fly]

This is the FX20D that I bought from Stan Hoye earlier this year. It was in pretty good condition when I bought it but since I plan on keeping it a while I decided to strip it down and paint it. Any way, the following pics kinda briefly follow the process.

I didn't stick with the original colors as I really didn't care for the looks of the greenish paint that's sold for the chassis. I also changed all the grills to gold and the former black trim is now a metal flake bronze (almost black).

The last pic is the original from the day Stan delivered the tractor.

Can't say enough good stuff about Stan and Hoye Tractors!

Looks good, but if you ever go to sell it you will wish you had left it original.

It is Yanmar red......just not faded red. And painting the attachments will be the next project.

I know this post is a little old but it Looks real nice,was it easy stripping it down?Do you have any problems running in 4wd having 2 different style tires front to back?I suppose they could still be close enough in diameter to work ok with no binding.
