I found this plastic cap on the grass where I was using my BX22 tractor with mid mount mower.
It's made from flexible polyethylene or polypropylene, doesn't have threads and has lots of grease built up inside, which leads me to believe it may be a dust cover for a grease fitting, bearing cover, etc. No markings other than a number. Anyone recognize this part? Thanks for taking a look.

It looks identical to the front wheel bearing cap of any simple 2wd riding lawn mower.

Bearing cover... Look at all your mowers & deck wheels.

Alternately, has anyone else used a mower on your land?

Do you have a utility trailer? Its definitely a bearing dust cover/cap

Bingo!...It is a bearing dust cover and it's from my utility trailer! I was using the trailer to haul bags of wood pellets into the basement when I discovered the plastic cap.
Thanks guys for solving the mystery, and 'itsjustme' I owe you a milkshake...
