As mentioned, just solder on (properly) some new wire long enough to make the needed run and shrink wrap the soldered connections.I am replacing an old floodlight setup on the side of my house with a bigger LED light. The problem is after removing the old fixture, I realized the wires coming from the house are not long enough to reach into the new fixture. I was thinking of putting a junction box where the old light was and running wires from there to the new light.
Any better ideas out there?
