Nice work -- WAY beyond anything I could do. Looks like it's strong enough to shrug off most of the accidents that have damaged my "store bought" model.

Thanks Blue. I like it but of course feel I should have done better... I'm kind of a perfectionist.

I did build it to take some abuse. Got some woods on the property, more so on my brother in law's but I wanted it to be able to take a hit from a low branch. I'll have to post if/when that ever happens.

Well, I've used the tractor a few times since installing the shade and I thought I would provide an update. With the height of the rops making the sunshade so high I wasn't too sure if it would provide good shade. It's a lot better than I'd hoped for. The shade makes it so much more tolerable to operate the tractor on hot sunny days. The shade fell short on my feet and my legs at time but that's no biggy. So far the only regret about it is how much time I spent building it.
