Thanks. I'm still debating that, and it's gonna depend on what I end up using for the windshield. I don't know how well a wiper would do on Plexi. But, I'm considering having a glass shop actually make a custom windshield, in which case I'd have to figure out a wiper setup. I've heard that it's not difficult to grab a wiper out of a junk yard and install one.

I think a wiper would be fine on a medium grade Plexi. You would want that grade for winter use anyway, I don't think the low grade would hold very well. That said, if it were me I would look pretty hard at glass mostly from a visibility standpoint. It won't scratch like Plexi will so it will also clean much easier. Once that Plexi scratches cleanabilty is certainly reduced as well as visibility. For the back and sides I think Plexi would be fine . You might just find that the price difference between the higher grade Plexi and Safety Glass for the windsheild might be close. I'm not sure on that obviously you would have to price it out. But if it's close I'd think you would be happier with glass. MHO

Okay, built the "rear-frame" today. Eventually, this will be used to attach the side rear-side frame pieces which will be used as hinge points for the doors once built. More immediately, the rear frame will be used to frame around the rear of the ROPS and also hold the "tool" and equipment box I built to attach:

Are you going to be able to see the implements that are connected to the 3pt hitch still?

Good call... I checked it and it was blocking the view a bit too much. Correction made. Also finished the rear "side-panels." Now I can take the frame back off later, weld on a few little "add-ons", clean it up, and prep it for paint :)

I'm hoping to be mostly done by next week some time :dance1:

Okay... took it back off, finished some little welding add-on's, and now the paint is drying. The roof won't be done tomorrow, but at least I'll be able to put the framing back on the tractor :D

Here's the main (front) section, the rear section, and the roof...

Here she is with the framing all painted and Re-installed. I'm hoping to have the roof paint finished tomorrow, and installed Sunday.

In the pics, you can see a few things I added to the frame... Up high in the front will be the mounting "slot" for the radio & speaker box once I build it. On the front to the left & right of the steering wheel are rectangular "pocket" brackets, which will accommodate some storage space, as well as space for some toggles and 12v outlets.

On the front, on both sides of the hood, are mounting tabs for the "hood guard" that I still have to build.

Cool project dude. I really like how you lowered the top of the rops. What are your plans for supplemental cooling in the summer? B.

Well, I might not bother adding anything since its still an open station. Maybe a little 12v fan once I get my wiring done

Finally had a chance to wire up my upper signals tonight. They're nice & bright LED's. I also mounted my rear "work-lights" but I didn't have a chance to wire them up yet, hopefully I'll get to it tomorrow. Still waiting to order the front "work-light" ... it'll probably be a bar-style LED and I'm still shopping around for it.
