as with any ford genny of that vintage, it has a big stud on the back as the armature, and then 2 small studs on the barrel that are field and ground. ground is common to the case, field has an insulation grommet isolating it from the case. If you measure from both of them to the case, one will be 0 ohms, one will be very low ohms ( field coil ).

Here she is in the field after doing a little work. Hauled it up to my place, attached the brush hog, and it did really well. The brush hog needs some attention before doing any real work, but I think they will do what I need for food plots. Still need to track down disc.

Amazing that this machine sat untouched for so many year sprang back to life this easily. Pretty cool to get it back out doing what it was designed to do.
