If your tach goes out Hoye is there for us. Parts for these old units are actually reasonable. With so many parts units around even the tach can probably be gotten if not availible new. And I am sure the same is true for the cable.

Very true! I did some more cutting today, it works - just a bit bouncy haha!

Mine bounces too. Do what we said. Unscrew it from the back of the tach. Clean ot and maybe lube with some graphite and put back on and just snug it with pliars. It has been known to help take some of that out.

And just take the average of it!! Haha

Alright, I'll try that!

Been a while but some quick updates! Used the tractor and that 4 ft bush hog and cut about 15 acres of head-high stuff over a good period of time. Everything seems to work perfect! Definitely have to keep radiator and air filter clean with those little white things that float everywhere! Thanks for all the help! I hope to order the wheel/tire kit from Hoye at some point this year.

best thing is to cut it before those seeds mature and start floating around, saves time all around!

First tool that went into my toolbox when I got my YM2000B was a whisk broom for the radiator screen. It has a factory temp gauge and when it starts to rise it's time to stop and clean the screen
