My B7100 is broken

Thought I would show a few pictures over here of my broken baby
Noticed the front end wobbling way more than it should have been
After a closer look see - WOW it's cracked in 1/2
Purchased the little baby new in 1993 and it has only has 850 hours
O' Well I guess "#@it" happens

Has anyone else experienced this mess?
How did you get it repaired?
Anything special I should look for?

Not too difficult a job getting at the broken part
I Hope all I need is $375.00 and two weeks delivery for a new part

Normally I would say just have it welded back together, but if that axle frame is only $375 I would go that route. I have been around Kubota's for 25 years, 12 of those as a dealership mechanic and have never seen that failure on a Kubota.

Strange stuff seems to happen to me - O' well life goes on
Looks like the factory weld had a few small steel pipe reinforcements added during the manufacture / fabrication of the part. These pieces were placed right at the place the thing cracked in half, wonder if they knew it was a weak point

How much "play" should there be between the hanger bolt sholder for the front axle and the hole in the part?
I can feel a small amount of wobble with the sholder in the hole
Both the bolt sholder and the hole show signs of a small amount of wear

Was thinking going the welding route as well if the hole did not get reemed out too much

Found the part #66740-51210 on the web for $350.00 but shipping might be a killer for me - we live in the back woods of western Montana
