MX5100 - loader float not working!

So yesterday, I took delivery of my new (to me) MX5100 with loader. I had the dealer I bought it from add a third function valve and two rear remotes. After playing with the tractor a bit, I realized that there should be a float function on the loader. I can push the loader lever all the way forward and feel it go past the detent, but as soon as I do, I can hear the relief valve go into relief. It's almost like they mis-matched some hoses. Is this possible, and would it cause the system to go into relief? The loader does not drop, and the lever does not stay in the detent.

My 5800 doesn't like to float and is really touchy. It will float but it seems to release pressure very slowly.
