Like to add a set of mirrors onto a B2650.

Wondering if anyone has done so and can post some photos.

Also, am I right in that the rops can't be folded down while
using the 3ph on this model?

I put a single 3x5 mirror on the loader brace on my previous L3410.

Don't have a B but still seems like the loader mount is probably the best place. You can see mine in the attached picture.

Thinking that the newer design loader on the current B series (being spaced closer to together) may pose a problem
in mounting mirrors and being able to see outside of the rear tires??

You can get a set of golf cart mirrors for around 15.00 off e bay. Then add a beam clam like they use to hang conduit and hook this over the loader mount with the mirror on it

Loader mount is where I mounted my own 'jury rigged' mirror. JD did offer a ROPS mounted configuration but I would've needed to take out a second mortgage to purchase one.

I mounted it on the right arm because we drive on the left.

Are these mirrors available to purchase at JD dealers? Is vibration a problem?

The one that I mounted I bought from my local Auto-parts shop. It's a 'generic' side view mirror for a van. The little JD sticker on it is something I had laying around. :)

I measured the holes and made a template using paper & took it to a local metal fabrication/welding shop. He made it out of a piece of scrap steel. I painted it JD green using a rattle-can, bought the nuts & bolts at my local hardware store. In the first picture you can just see a rubber gasket that I fashioned out of some floor matting.

The mirror does not vibrate at all... clear as a bell!

Ha, my daddy use to say that people in other countries drove, "Bassackwards".

Well, steering a vehicle from the right-hand side is the traditional place... it comes from ancient ships which would steer via a specialised steering oar, which was always hung over the right side (out-board). Over time (and Anglicisation), the 'steering-oar' side got slurred into starboard.

Arrrrrrr! :pirate:
