Most fun gun to shoot?

My most favored is my WWll german mauser k98 rebored to .308
Deadly accurate long or short range.easy on the shoulder(little kickback)and not very loud either.

My favorite to shoot is a 1943 Remington built Springfield.
The kick is punishing, but it sights-in fine - at least it did before my eyes aged - now I need to get a scope on it.
Would love to try a BAR after reading The Last Parallel.

One of the most fun guns I can remember shooting at the range that did not belong to me was an M16 with a 22LR upper on it with a suppressor. The guy that owned it had several magazines, and guys were lining up and loading the mags to take a turn at the steel targets with this full auto suppressed rifle. It was extremely fun (for a few seconds) to hear the bullets hitting the targets and just a little sound of the bolt working back and forth in the action. It was the only full auto gun that I have shot that I felt I could afford to feed! I did pony up for 200 rounds of .308 to run thru a M1919 air cooled machine gun once and it was fun too. The guy had 3 barrels for the MG, 8x57 mauser, 30-06 and 7.62x51 aka .308 winchester. But overall of all the MG's I have shot, The one I would like to own the most is the little M16 with a suppressor.

I loved shooting a Thompson .45 at the Police Academy. The trick was to hold on while shooting fully automatic.

Absolutely the best, if you discount the initial price and the cost of feeding it. I have a friend with several and when it drags one out of the truck, I drop whatever I am shooting and go have fun. The "push" of the .45 is so much better than the recoil of the other full auto's I have shot.
Back in the real world, a 10/22 with a scope is fun, while a 39 Marlin is much better at hitting what your aiming at.

The most fun gun that I've ever shot was the Uzi when I was in the Marines. My favorite gun to take out and shoot is my Ruger 10/22, but when I have friends over, the Ruger Mark 1 .22 semi auto pistol is the one they all have the most fun with. It's also a lot of fun to just burn off ammo!!!! I just wish it had a larger magazine.

Hands down my Rugar 17HMR with tactical scope in Montana clearing out the prairie dogs. Not only fun but the ranchers love us for it. Also great fun around the house for the tree rats.

Me too, when I was at the Police Academy...did you notice how it goes up and to the right as you are firing on full auto...you have to muscle it down...it was a shock the first time I fired it.

Model 94 Winchester 30/30 with peep sights. For me the lever action is the most fun to shoot. The peeps make target acquisition quick and instinctive.

Man that's a hard one, I have several I really like, but keep circling back to my Smith and Wesson Model 41 with 5 1/2" heavy barrel. I will never be able to shoot well enough to do it justice, but it's a great gun to shoot.

I vote for my SKS. 7.62x39 Used to be a lot of fun before Bill Clinton drove up the surplus ammo price. Now any thing that I have the time to shoot.
