Mitsubishi Hydraulic Problem

I need help in figuring out how to change the hydraulic oil in my
Mitsubishi MT 250 D tractor. I am sure there is a drain plug but
I cannot find it. Thanks for the help.

I'm quite sure there should be a drain for it somewhere....just keep lookin'....it should be underneath...could be a sqaure type plug or hexigon....(excuse my spellin') Ampa

It has been several years since I owned a 250 so I can not recall the exact location, however if you look under the transmission case there should be a plug ( probably in the side of the case..not the bottom). They are usually a 4 sided plug head and it will be near the lowest part of the trans case. On my MTE2000D it is on the right hand side ( sitting on the tractor).

If you don't have a manual , GET ONE! The I&T Shop Manual for Mitsubishi MT160-300 series are cheap, available many places online and indispensable for any Mitsubishi owner.

Just google " I&T Mitsubishi shop manual MT160-MT300 " and a number of suppliers will come up. They are not "every single detail" specific but they cover a lot of needed info for any owner and the MT250 is cover specifically in it. I looked in mine and it did not give the exact location for the Hyd. fluid drain plug but gave all other details for fluid changes.

On my tractor.....I found it on the bottom....infact there were two drain plugs....of course
I own a greymarket tractor... maybe a different animal altogether....Ampa

I checked the manual and it does not show the drain plug.Hydraulic oil capacity for your model is 21qts and your filter is located in the suction pipe.If you still need a manual I have one I don't need.Pm me your address and mail it to you.
