I am looking at an online ad for a MTE 1800 FD. Purportedly approx 24 HP, Live pto, 4wd. Anyone can speak about this tractor with experience? I have read a lot of opinions that say parts are difficult to find and expensive. Others say Mitsubishis may run forever. I would appreciate any info available

Thanks

Don’t think there is such a creature. I have seen a MTE1800D and a MT1850FD but neither are 24hp, nor do they have live PTO.

it is a MTE1800D that is 18 at the PTO 21.5 flywheel (roughly) and does NOT have a live PTO. He has a Yanmar 1601 for sale also that he says is 24hp, must have higher octane diesel in his part of the country.

How about opinions on Mitsubishis in general? How do they compare in (1) durability, (2) reliability, (3) ease of maintenance, (4) availability of parts, (5) price of those parts?
Compared to Yanmar that is.

Thanks

I'd say they are pretty favorable in comparison to Yanmar . Parts will be more expansive .
