Does anyone out there know if this tractor can handle a King Kutter II 4 foot tiller? The tractor is a 3 cylinder rated at 25HP. PTO is rated (I think?) at around 21HP. The tiller is gear drive which adds weight to it. I've heard these are great tillers. thanks Mike:confused:

I run a 4' behind my S-470 Satoh Buck. Rated at around 15 at the pto. Tractor and tiller both new in late 70's, still going strong.

Thanks Oliver. I didn't know if I had too much tiller for the tractor. I do like both.
I'm new to this but learning. Mike

Oliver, I tilled my garden Saturday and I can't say enough good about the new set up. My tractor and tiller are a perfect match. I can't understand why I waited as long as I did to get the King Kutter II. Thanks for your imput. Mike

I have a Mitsubishi MT 2000 has hydraulic pump problems . I found a MT 2201 with bad motor is it possible to change front end of MT 2000 put on backend of 2201 just wondering ? or would pump& cylinders on inside interchange ? Looks like it would interchange any comments welcome !! Thanks .

I haven't looked a parts crossover but it is very likely the 2000 and 2201 use the same hydraulic pump. I am assuming this is an old style 2000 gear drive and not the new model hydrostat we are talking about since you are talking about swapping front/rear halves to a 2201 gear drive. The pump simply unbolts ( 4 bolts) from the back of the timing cover. A very simply fix. Swapping/or replacing anything but the pump is unnecessary. A new pump is available from a number of online Mitsubishi parts dealers and are often listed on ebay. A stock pump runs anywhere from $300-$500 depending on who you get it from. This guy http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/mitsubishi-satoh/270451-mitsu-d2650fd-gettin-started-4.html describes how he replaced his stock 5GPM Mitsubishi pump with a larger 9GPM pump from NCW Tractor Parts for the same price.

What is wrong with your current pump?
