The tractor set the height of the opening and I don't want to put doors on shed.. I am looking for a cost effective method of minimizing the rain that blows in (and we get a lot of it). I have seen the heavy hanging fingers of what looks like leather or rubber in industrial buildings that you can drive thru but I can't find the right search terms to locate them. Anyone found a good solution?

There is also a really heavy woven mesh that I have seen used- it looks very similar to trampoline fabric but it is shaped like a square. These "tarps" have the edges reinforced and have metal grommets or D rings for attachment points. I think Tractor supply sells something similar that they call a "sun shade" that people put over a dog pen. But you can't drive through it- it would have to be pulled back like a curtain or raised like a sail.

Build a larger eve/overhang?

What size is the shed, and would it be possible to pick the whole thing up and rotate it so the opening is on the leeward side of prevailing winds? I have a 12 x 36 shed, one side open, nothing ever gets wet inside. The north is the high/open side - our prevailing winds all come from south - south-east except for a week or two in spring... Attached is picture. Will look at suggestions and see if I can find good fit. Shed is 28X30 and on the 30 ft side I will install clear siding I already use on a carport.

We used "strip curtains" on our freezer doors '' The forklift can drive through the strips , yet not lose as much cold when the door is open..We used them in a factory to block welding flash .. Maybe try something like that, might be able to buy used ones cheaply.

Look at the repurposed materials web site, they may have something you can use to make your own strips.
