Or put some flat steel plates on the lightbar and use magnets.

The OP stated there is 2" clearance above the cab roof; it is unclear if that is to the bottom of the lintel or where the bottom edge of the door customarily hangs when open. Murphy can easily envision 2" of packed snow on the concrete or the door not opening fully owing to the extra weight of snow on the door etc. "Just squeak through" might become "forcefully removed the strobe". Whatever gymnastics are required to mount and demount the strobe when exiting and entering the barn will become more perilous with snow or melted snow on the cab.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I cut the light bar off today with a mini grinder and removed one of the 2 home made bases. I forgot to take pictures, but will tomorrow. Roof is a little busted up. I can tell they hit a 10’ garage opening with the strobe and the light bar cracked the roof.
In the picture you can see the recessed cups where one of the steel home made discs was mounted. I’m thinking of gluing the steel disc back into the recessed opening with “Quad” adhesive caulk. I will re-route the wire.
I found these low profile strobes on Amazon. They have a magnetic base good up to 60MPH. I don’t know if I will do same on other side. It would be kinda cool to have 2 of them.

Trying to figure out how to replace missing plastic…..
I began using my new $22 amazon plastic “welder” to try to fix the cracks. Was thinking of getting some thin plastic, like milk jug plastic, bend it over holes and then apply yellow gorilla tape?

Fortunately the gaping holes are in the “eave” of the tractor roof, so no water leaking into cab.

$5 tube of silicone RTV probably would have held it in place just fine and still be easy enough to remove without damage if you ever wanted to

A little off topic but Just curious on how well strobes 9 1/2 ft in the air get peoples attention vs being down in the 4 - 6 ft range especially with more people looking at phone vs windshield.

Use Liquid Nails to attach a piece of flat 304 stainless to the roof then attach light with its magnets to the stainless.
