Yes Or Tool Only. 9 & 12 AH because of higher current due to different cell configuration provide higher power

Andy

I'm waiting for them to package the 12 AH battery with the trimmer.

I got the 12 with the chainsaw. I weed whacked for over an hour using less than half charge. The additional power is noticeable

I recently got the wife a Ryobi 40 Volt Line Trimmer (bump line feed) as her old 12V batteries died. It has two speed ranges. She loves it, might even let me borrow it some time.

I just bought the Kobalt 80V from Lowes. So far it has impressed me. It will last about as long as I will doing heavy duty fence line clearing. The 80V version is set up just like my old gas trimmer and uses any of the universal trimmer attachments I have. I used it for a good 45 minutes yesterday with a pole saw attachment trimming trees around the horse barn. It sailed through 6" limbs - and no fussing with a balky trimmer motor was required. So far I'm quite happy with the electric experience.
