Mice

Sometimes I wonder if the peanut butter smell attracts mice into the structure..... but that is what I use.

Read somewhere that planting catnip keeps mice away. I think it's the cats it attracts.

Grrrrr....

Squirrels. Not mice in my case.

Round 2.
Coming back from dump with trailer and fans kicked on. God awful noise under the hood.
Pulled over and found that they had now stored nuts in the electric fan shrouds. When they turned on, blades ripped off, something jabbed the radiator, and destroyed the fans.

So I got to install a new radiator and fan set yesterday in a 2011 eco boost. That wasn’t fun.

Also ate the windshield washer hose underneath the fender.

And I found this in the air filter.

Mothballs and hood up did little it appears along with moving the truck.

Going to poison now. I cleaned out their nests inside both wheel wells.

Wife is convinced it’s the blue color (long term argument over favorite color of my blue vs white) my two white work trucks sitting here or her white Subaru never get touched).

Says I have to sell my blue truck or cut the black walnut tree down is my only hope!

I have tried all the different methods recommended on here and other sites, it seems like each has limited success, but used along with poison, the success rate goes up dramatically.
