I took the FEL off of my 1532 yesterday to see how easy/hard it is to do.

When I tried to reconnect the hoses i was unable to reconnect without loosening the hydraulic hoses to relieve the pressure. Is there an easier way to relieve the pressure?

Before disconnecting the lines did you move the loader controls around with the tractor off? I took my loader off for the first time a couple weeks ago and did that, hooked back up easily. I have read that if you don't it will make it hard to reconnect the lines.

I concur- after tractor is shut off and you are ready to take FEL off, move joystick in BIG circles so fluid can equalize. I do the same with my FEL.

Every time I shut my tractor off, I always relieve the hydraulic pressure by moving the loader joystick around in all directions for about 10 seconds, just a good habit to practice. I have pulled the hoses out and reinstalled them and never had any problems.
