Anyone know where I can find a torque-curve chart for the MF 1523? On the Yanmar website I can see torque-curves used in John Deeres. On the Shibaura site I can see torque-curves used in New Holland/CaseIHs. On the Kubota Engines site I can see torque-curves for Kubotas. But on Iseki's website I can't find a torque-curve chart. I do have an older single page brochure that states the MF 1225 had 49.2ft/lbs(67 Nm) @ 2000 rpms. It's engine model was E3112-B06. I'm sure the 1523 is similar, and I'll bet its torque info is out there somewhere. I just wondered if someone can help me find it?

The only place that I have seen the torque curve for these engines is in the shop manuals. I don't have one for the 1500 series.

JerryG,
Do you have a torque-curve for the MF 1423 or the MF 1225? I'd think it'd be similar to the 1523?

The MF 1423 and the MF 1225 both us a E 3112 engine. Does anyone know if that is the same engine in the MF 1523?
Yes, I have a torque chart for the 1423 and the 1225.

I know the displacement's the same 68.5cu. in.(1.123 liters). They seem to be the same engine, just rated differently.
MF 1225/MF 1423 = 23.3 Eng.HP @ 2800 rpm
----------MF 1523 = 22.5 Eng.HP @ 2600 rpm
So, I would think their performance curves(HP & Torque) would be very similiar.
I'm just wanting something to compare it to the TNV Yanmar engine used in the new John Deere 2320, and the Perkins/Shibaura engine used in the Case DX24/26-NH TC24/26 tractors. I have found their torque curves on-line.
Thanks!

I would think that they would be close. It is amazing how much some of the engines have changed for the same HP.

As far as I know, Perkins has never had anything to do with Shibaura. Perkins was owned by Massey for about 30 years or so and they are now owned by Cat.

I've never linked a web address on a Post before, so I hope this works! Perkins news

It appears at some point Perkins bought Shibaura???
Once you're on this Perkins website, select Products, then select 400 series engines, and at the bottom of the page find the 403C-11 engine and click. It's data seems to be a perfect match for Case/NH DX/TC 26s.

I may be wrong, but it sounds like one of those joint manufacturing deals to me.

JerryG,
Is there a way you can download the Torque-curve for the MF 1225 or 1423 for me? Or how can I see it? I'd really appreciate any info. Thanks! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I don't know how I would be able to get you a picture. My computer has to go to the shop (really messed up) and I am using my wifes laptop. It isn't set up for a scanner or anything else and that is the way she wants it. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

You’re doing better than me if you found Shibaura and Yanmar charts. I found Kubota but on the other sites all I see is engine specs without torque curve and HP charts.

I too am looking for chart on:

MF-1423-1523 Iseki

JD-2320 Yanmar

NH-TC24-26 Shibaura

Kub-B7510-7610 Kubota

Go back a few entries on this Post where I linked a "Perkins News" link. Once on this link, go under products, then click on 400 series engines, then go to the bottom @ specification sheets. Then click on 403C-11. I believe this is engine used in NH26DA and CaseIH DX26. Remember this torque is in Nm, not lb/ft.
I'm out of time right now at work, so I'll get back later to Post where to find Yanmar engines.

Click Here! This should be performance curve for JD2320. I've heard it has same engine as JD2305.(Yanmar 3TNV76)

Cool, lots of interesting stuff. Thanks to both of you, I would have never found those and I’m relatively net literate.

Looks like that link is to stationary power unit, the HP looks right but the HP curve looks a bit steep? This one shows too high? a HP but the curve looks more likely?

403C-11 Compact Industrial

Amazing reading how people don’t have good local Massey Challenger dealers and can’t see the machines. I have the opposite, a very good Cat/Massey/Challenger dealer with an ok JD (ok but pricey) and poor NH/KUB. Have not yet looked at the smaller Massey but will. Have rented a 1250 in the past.

Edit:
Guess the difference on those two links is the RPM rating, may both be the same other than the obvious addition of cooling unit on one. I see now the power unit type engine has a G on the end of the ID code.

This may be a little late but I thought you might find it interesting.
