Does anyone have a cross reference# for the MAHMX60 deck by Amerequip on a Max25. Part# 012763. Lowest price I find is 102 bucks without shipping. I know that their is a lot of OEM profit in that figure. Hoping someone can help me do better!

If its a single belt you can probably get the replacement from McMaster Carr for about 1/2 that.

Yes I know that there will be many sources that will be cheaper. My problem is that it is broken with a chunk missing and the numbers are worn off. The Mahindra or Amerequip is an internal part 3 and useless for cross reference

If you can pull back the tensioner and thread the old belt on its operating route you can get a pretty good idea of the outside length that will work.

You need two basic measurements. the width of the flat side of the belt and the outside diameter. I just had to replace 2 large industrial belts on a shredder (178" OD) turns out amazon had the gates part number the cheapest. I took the vbelt supply part # over to gates website and crossed it.

You mean outside length. - Circumference.

For future reference if anyone has need, the belt for MAHMX60 deck, item # 35 in the mower manual part#012763 is a 134" belt which is a B131. OEM is a bit over $102.00 without shipping from online dealers,is $39.99 at NAPA.
I am sorry dealers, but OEM profit adding is way out of line, and I need to take care of myself first!

I have gone through this same process for this very same belt. NAPA could not cross the Mahindra part number and they did not carry the 134" industrial belt, but I was able to order it. So with a little more research for a higher quality agg belt we came up with the Gates Bladerunner part number 6485BR. This is a better belt for this mower application than your typical industrial/automotive belt. Please note this belt is 133.38 Inch O.D. though. My price $31.77.

As a follow-up, to this post... I was recently in need of replacing this belt and used this new BladeRunner Belt. Unfortunately I must report that this belt is too short! I was able to make work for now by skipping one of the center idler pulleys but I don't like how little belt wrap there is in the front spindle pulley.

The good news I was able to find a B131 in Kevlar for $29.35 here:

Im ordering a couple and see how it goes.

What has your experience since been with the off-the-shelf blue kevlar belts? We've tried those on our old Ford LGT14D, and they always had a relatively short life compared to the OEM belt. Granted, the AME deck on the Mahindra runs a lot cooler, but I'm curious what your experience has been.

Also:
It seems a Gates BladeRunner 6778BR would be a better fit than the 6485BR (134" outside, B-section). They're not as common, but can be found for about $60. I was thinking of trying one.

Well... As a matter of fact, I am still running that same Bladerunner belt since I posted that! Even though I re-routed the belt, all is good still and I mow A LOT!

Well that's certainly good to hear. I've been busy trying to find alternates for maintenance parts on the Max25, and having any confidence in an alternate belt is a huge relief. Thanks.
Now if only I could find alternates for the hyd/trans filters...

My belt broke and I made the mistake of ordering the AME 012763 belt from 4mymahindra.com The belt was over $200. When it arrived I found the belt was not an original Mahindra belt but one produced by A&I product part # B133k. I am fine with the A&I belt its the up charge that 4mymahindra.com made. If you order the belt straight from A&I it only cost $49.88 plus shipping vs $200.

A bit of an update:
The bladerunner belts seem to be working okay so far. Lost a couple due to idler bearing failures, but they're definitely more durable than the plain blue belts. Compared to the OEM, they seem to be a bit tighter when new. They do seem to stretch after a while, but not much. An extra inch might be a good thing for spindle bearing life, and a bit less of a wrestle to install. That said, at 2000h, I can't exactly expect the spindles to last much longer anyway.
