Why fit a used pump.
Hutch.
G'day airbiscuit.
To allow me to offer an opinion I would like to see photo's of the pump before and after it has been removed,But at this point I would add that I have only seen a lift ram arm broken once and it was caused by having material on the linkage that was way to heavy, the tractor was being used to transport large round bales of fodder, the owner of the tractor in his wisdom had made a twin fork bale carrier capable of carrying two bales at once not so much the weight (approx 1000kg) but the bounce that picked up as the tractor was travelling along the bumpy track ,so this is possible, another thought is a faulty casting (need to see a good picture) or possibly a faulty, wrong part or malfunctioning relief valve.
Regards.

I was able to get the rock shaft freed today. It took alot of beating but is now out. It seems like the the bearing surface inside the lift cover was seized on the Rock shaft.
I will attach pictures.
Can you tell me if the rock shaft pictured should have a machined surface. The non splined parts seem pitted. Im not sure if this can be cleaned, greased, and reinstalled after new bearing surfaces are replaced.
