Tough luck. Hopefully you are close to the end of unfortunate news. I wonder how much metal is lying on the bottom of your case?
Well I now will need to work on getting the cover off without damaging anything else. Once the cover is off I can take inventory of all the damaged parts.
I wish there was a video on the rebuilding the hydraulics on this tractor. I'll continue to work at it.

G'day Rc1700.
Remove the four nuts that hold the lift piston assembly to the cover and either borrow or buy a stud driver ,a tool to remove /fit studs or use two 1/2" unf nuts and double nut them onto the studs sticking out of the cover ,if/ when you have the four studs removed the lift assembly will become loose and allow you to remove the cover then when it is off you can easily remove the broken bones ,it may be that all you need to buy is a new piston ,rings and a new cam arm,when you have it in pieces I will guide you through the reassembly and readjustment of the hydraulic system.
Don't be concerned it is not really a big job.

Well I'm one step closer. I keep finding more broken parts. The studs were pulled with a stud remover. They were quite bent. Something went really wrong with these hydraulics.
I'll be looking for more info on the next steps and also information on a good source for parts.

Well done when you get time remove the hydraulic pump and take some pictures before stripping it down.
Drain all transmission oil,(two drain plugs) Remove the PTO shaft from the rear,remove the shear tube (the one that connects the gearbox to the differential) pull the split pin select high range on the small gearstick and slide the tube forward then slide the tube and shaft together to the rear and lift out, remove the two pump locating dowel pins one each side of the gearbox look for the small flanged caps with two nuts securing them,pullthem out and the pump willpull to the rear tilt the rear of the pump up and out,look out for a bit of oil dripping out, take some pictures or (send the pump and lift cover over to me and I will rebuild it for you)

Well, you're getting closer. What will you be needing for parts? Piston & cylinder? Pump?

If you go to the website, there is a link for used prices. I went to this site as there is a large used tractor parts store in Downing, WI and apparently they are part of a regional consortium.
