Mashroom question

Gang, what kind of mushrooms are these and are the eatable? One has what appears to be animal bites on them and they grow in certain areas of my property. Not portabelo but hey, they might be tasty.

Here is a good rule to live by. Mushrooms are poisonous, unless you know they are not. You do not know that those mushrooms are not poisonous, so therefore they are. So don't eat them.

Land turtles and Terrapins can eat mushrooms (likely the bite marks you see) that are poisonous to a human. As said, even highly knowledgeable folks have been fooled, forget eating them and stick with produce at the market.

Absolutely.....don't even think about eating them....

Kids friend went 'shrooming for years.. He went with them several times. One year, they all ended up in the ER.
