Here's a picture of Medium sized green things growing in a Manitoba winter.

Egon:

Send me some of them seeds, and I'll see if I can get a couple to grow down here in Florida

Egon, you just getting back from a trip out west? Random shots or a farm you know? Any chance you got to "play" on any of those big green toys?

Went to Alberta at Xmas. Some of the shots are from a school friends farm. The others in Manitoba were handy in passing by.

I have had the opportunity to play on bigger equipment but it was yellow.

Well heck; I tried for some seeds to but they told me they were all out as they were working on the 12 tire ones.

I'd bet those "green" things probably came from the states. Every farm auction I go to is loaded with north of the border farmers buying our used "green" prime movers. We never let our "green" things sit outside in the winter. We keep them inside, that's what equipment barns are for.

Theseun's were brand new and just showed a few. A shed for all the equipment on that dealers lot would cover about 10 acres.

How many farm sheds you'all got that are that big?

We have 2 storage barns, one is just for storage and it is 70 X 120 with concrete floor and the other is the same with concrete floor except it's heated in the front half and that's where the shop/office/bar is. We are not dealers, however, I know dealers let their stuff sit outside. The main office/shop barn's back half is for prime movers and the other barn is for implements. We have a 5,000 gallon above ground diesel storage tank (if you look at the John Deere Supersteer photo's in the photo section on this site you will see part of the tank), and 10,000 gallons of storage for 28% liquid fertilizer. We even wax the equipment once in a while.
